How to Gain Confidence?
bit.ly/2Y8Smp0 Confidence, confidence, confidence! We hear it all the time in sports and in life. How do you get it? How do you become a confident player? How do you believe in yourself especially when the pressure mounts and you need to perform and you want to perform? How do you be confident? There's really two ways that I've seen in all the years of training players, and one is you have to put in a significant amount of work. That means you have to spend time in the gym; in the weight room; on the court; at the basket working on your game. Getting uncomfortable; trying to improve your weaknesses as well as elevate your strengths to another level. Then you have to make a choice. You have to make a choice and decide I am going to believe in myself. When you make that choice right there we have to understand that it is not always going to work out like we wanted to. You are still going to turn the ball over; you are still going to miss shots; you are still going to get yelled at by a coach when you're playing. That is all part of it! But you have to make the choice that I am going to believe in myself as a player and as a teammate. Those two things right there - I think it's simple - they're not easy, but if you do it, if you do the work, if you spend the time getting better and you spend the time getting uncomfortable. Then to you decide to believe in that work and believe in yourself. You will gain more confidence! Our training programs are designed to guide players to be a better, more confident player.
