Seeing your son, daughter, or player make shots is rewarding and benefits the team in a variety of ways.
We emphasis 3 things when working on catch and shoot:
#1 - Feet ready. That means the athletes feet are in position and ready to shoot. On balance.
#2 - Hands ready. Show the passer where you want the ball. Where you can get the shot off quick.
#3 - Freeze the follow through. Hold it up there until you see the ball go in.
Making shots takes having a plan and consistently executing that plan.
Once you have a plan for that shooting workout.
Consistently execute that plan.
Record it! Write it down! See where you have gotten better and where improvement needs to be made.

Your athletes time in the gym is not defined by the hours that they are there, but by purpose that they practice.
