We have all been there. Waiting for the last minute to do our work. It leads to stress, frustration, anxiety, and other ugly feelings that could of all been denied by doing one simple thing. Do it early! Do it really early! Well before the moment comes and you will be ready. Like this clip where #22 makes a shot. However, it's not the shot that stands out. It is the readiness the player has before the ball arrives. Knees are bent. Body is loaded. Hands are up. He is ready to help the team, by doing his work early. Can you be this ready? Absolutely! Do you have to be a special athlete to be ready? No. Put in the work behind the scenes, and understand you are doing the work early which leads to good things.

I don't really belong to the early bird category. I know there really is no valid excuse for this and even I don't see my reasons as an excuse. I am just stating facts. If I do my work early, I will finish early. The reason why I am working is because I want to keep myself busy. I don't see the point of finishing early. I want to enjoy the ride as much as I can. I am really after enjoying the journey and not being the one to reach any destination first.
