The answer to this question can be tough.
Because getting better requires us to be humble and hungry for feedback.
Yep! In order to get better we have to be open to coaching, feedback, and being uncomfortable.
I personally struggled with this at times. That's another blog entry.
Unfortunately, lots of players say they want to get better, but it this doesn't really happen for several reasons.
1. They really don't know what it takes to keep improving. We can help!:)
2. They think they are already good because they are succeeding at their current level.
3. It's just not what they want to do. That's ok too.
It doesn't matter where you are as a player.
The leading scorer. The last player off the bench.
There is always room to improve.
There is always something to add to your physical game as well as your mental game.
It's amazing - the road maps are out there because every single great athlete in any sport talks about how they seek out coaches or trainers who would push them to get better.
The success stories are lined with a path for all of us to see.
They answered the the question - Do you want to get better with YES!!
They knew what they wanted.
They formed and action plan and acted.
They were open, willing, and hungry to improve.
Inside of you is more.
Inside of you is another level of athlete or player you have not seen yet.
