Attention basketball players, coaches, or parents working to be their best. Pick and Roll basketball is at every level. Train with EYG at https://www.eygbball.com/ Being an effective screener that can roll or pop depending on what defense does to cover the pick and roll (PNR). This video has two clips of an NCAA Division III mens basketball game. The screener in the PNR does 3 things well: #1 Sets a solid screen to give his teammate space to create or operate in areas that puts pressure on defense. This action forces the screeners defender to choice and act on the ballhandler. #2 Rolls to space and in the vision of the ballhandler to make the pass. The roll is about the feet and shoulders making the moves to quickly get in position to score. Watch the screeners feet and shoulders. #3 Shoulders to the rim. He uses a pound dribble to gain power and explode towards the basket. No soft finish or fade away here. Attack the rim.
