The power of dedication and hard work.
You know these two concepts of dedication and hard work are talked a lot about in the athletic world as well as the real world. Let’s take a look at dedication first. Your son or daughter is on a basketball team. They have practice several times a week. They are competing in games. They are dedicated to team practice, helping their team prepare and get better. They are committed to helping their teammates and coaches be the best they can be. That’s in a general sense - let’s break it down to a daily practice. Be dedicated to that drill in that moment of what’s going on in practice. That means your son or daughter is doing the best they can at that moment, and that drill, and with those teammates. Here are two positives that can come from that level of dedication. #1. They will show their teammates just how invested they are in helping the team, and everyone do their best. What a cool way to create connections. #2. And your son or daughter will start to improve quickly which means they will gain more confidence. And with more confidence they would play better in the games. One way too add to the dedication and hard work piece is to join our training programs this winter where you get to focus on your individual skills.
