![]() To Change....defined as to MAKE or become different. On every team there or roles, jobs, and characteristics that players are assigned too. Or they naturally fall into that duty because of their skill set, size, or effort level. On some teams this leads to really successful outcomes or results. This is great! However, there are players out there that want more. Want to do more. Want to be better. Want to contribute more to the team. Are already good, but want to add more to their game. The really difficult thing is it requires CHANGE. Something has to become different. Something has to CHANGE. Players have control over their skill set. They have control of their confidence. They control how that change happens or doesn't happen. It's the time to make that CHANGE. If you want it. It's time to form a plan on how you the player will CHANGE for the better. Now look, every player can stay the same - doing the same thing for the team to win. That's important too. Don't get all selfish on your team or coaches. That's not what I'm talking about. While you are fulfilling that role. Spend extra time making that CHANGE. Spend time improving the ballhandling. Improve the shooting. Improve the ability to finish at the rim. So next time when you come back to the court - little by little that CHANGE will start to show while you are competing. It's uncomfortable. But it's worth it. That choice to CHANGE can lead to something different. Keep working. Keep fighting to improve. It all comes to life at the right time.
