Here are three steps to turning a slump into a spark for yourself or team.
1. Be aware of midpoints. Dont’ let them remain invisible. Every project, workout, practice, or game have a midpoint/halftime. Know that it’s coming and what can be accomplished before it, during it, and after it. 2. Use them to wake up rather than roll over. Use “uh-oh” rather than “oh-no” This can change the view of the slump. 3. At the midpoint or halftime - imagine that you’re behind - but only by a little. This could be the spark that you need.
