Between-the-legs dribble is a really good one.
One because your leg protects the ball.
Common steaks that we see with kids when they do this between-the-legs:
#1. They are to far out from their body so they're trying to get the ball through their legs but they're too far away. They can't control the ball.
Something we teach kids is almost put their hand through their leg. If they are throwing their hand through their leg it is never too far out
#2. Kids stand up so they might go through their legs but then they stand up. By standing up they lose the ball.
All of our workouts we focus on ballhandling as we believe it's an important skills that leads to more confidence on the court.
