Pivoting is boring! That's what you hear players say all the time, right? At least the younger ones. Coaches love it! Good and great players USE IT. They pivot! Sometimes more than once. Watch the clip of Kyle Guy from Virginia. Number 5. Catches and pivots. Drives hard to the paint and pivots. Then pivots. Then pivots to the rim. Wow! Four pivots, right? All for a reason. To create space. To create separation. To create angles for driving and scoring at the rim. If players want to be better offensively, they NEED to have pivoting and footwork that works for them and the team. Check out our FALL TRAINING PROGRAMS and/or MEMBERSHIP PROGRAMS that are meant to provide top-notch training. Oh by the way, high school and middle school players that are good or want to be good can benefit from pivoting too. It's a game changer.
