You can score in the paint. You can score at the rim. Avoid the bad shot. Avoid the turnover. Make plays for your team that can change the course of the game. In this clip you will watch a solid finishing move at the rim which utilizes the following skills... 1. Target - Let your teammates know where you want the ball. Use your hands, eyes, body, and feet to guide the ball in to the spot. 2. Patience - after the catch develop the ability to slow down, feel the defense, and make the move. 3. Footwork - the ability to pivot and use both feet is a game changer. You can go places and do things on the floor that are hard to guard. 4. Forward - attack the rim. Go towards the basket. Move forward and finish strong. The great news is you can use this move too. You can develop your feet, hands, and skills to make this move. All it takes is some time working on it and you can become a threat for your team in the paint. Interested in working on finishing? Check out our session #3 here.
